Speech Synthesizer

A speech synthesizer is a software that converts the text into spoken words. This helps the blind a lot. Nowadays synthesized speech has a wide range of commercial applications - in prerecorded helplines over phone, to announce the stations and bus stops, to announce token numbers and so on.
This converts ASCII texts into speech by stringing together phonemes according to a highly sophisticated algorithm that has a set of rules for converting English spelling into English pronunciation.
